First International women’s day was celebrated on 28th February 1909 in USA and after that it became a day of women.

International Women’s day is celebrated on 8th day of march in every year. It is also called as International Working women’s day. The day is devoted to women and women’s day is the special day for social awareness by paying respect, appreciation and love towards women for their achievements in various field. It is not just a mixture of valentines day & Mother’s day as many people take this as in many regions. The day should be of celebration for the success of women in various fields such as politics, social or technology.
